From the simple piano intro, to the epic electric build up, this soundtrack from 28 days later(a fantastic movie by the way) by John Murphy is epic from the beginning to the end. This and his other iconic soundtrack, “Adagio in D Minor” or also known as, “Sunshine” have been featured in a variety of TV shows, commercials and film trailers, the most recent one being the “Adjustment Bureau”. Enjoy!

It has been a super hectic month or two, sorry for not posting enough despite all the epic music you guys send me. Once my work kind of lightens up in August, I’m hoping to come back and revamp epic-music somehow so that should be pretty exciting. Meanwhile, enjoy this exciting piece from the latest Harry Potter movie. Alexandre Desplat is most famously known for composing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Note: Sorry for double posting this on Facebook. haha

There seems to be couple versions of this song under different names but I can say it with 99% confidence, that it’s by “Methodic Doubt Music”.
Amazon doesn’t have it yet but Apple seems to have it. Just search for “Half the man”.

For inspiration, Zimmer read Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid by Douglas Hofstadter because it combined “the idea of playfulness in mathematics and playfulness in music”….
